I did this project because war produces agony, devastation, and slowly wipes away all of your childhood memories that you cherished which includes happiness and love. For that reason, I used the Tom & Jerry mask to portray that image. This project was done in Kurdistan. In 2014, ISIS attacked Iraq. I took these photos in 2015.

 

Life is full of hardships, and devastating wars, but childhood and love and beautiful memories are also a part of life that is why I hate war. It is also amongst the memories in our lives.
